Single Opt-In wants you, as a user of a website, agree or opt-in to something (e.g. creating an account) without any second confirmation or verification. Hence the name "single." The most common method of obtaining consent from a customer or visitor of a website is for the customer or visitor to create an account by going through a simple registration process. So-called BAITS to provoke such an action can be discount codes or a newsletter promising a discount.
